Sloth, Entwine

The top piece is the first piece I made at uni i was happy with, I used watered down acrylic and covered my naked self in paint, and rolled around on the floor... The idea was to explore the movement of he body during that lazy, sweaty sex you have when you get to know a new lover sexually. The second picture is the same piece, but about 5 months later... the colours are faded but I really like he new delicacy... the two pictures are so different, and I can't decide which I prefer...

Honestly

A collection of sketches from my 'Honestly' Sketch book. A sketch book I like to keep and confess things too... silly thoughts I have, that aren't important to me, but I like to get it out because I like a bit of light-hearted fun at my own expense. It's good to laugh at one's own ridiculous and often petty thoughts.

These are close ups from work I made for my January exhibition, Art in Pubic. A group exhibition I did with the lovely fuschiaAyling and her other half at Sh! Women's Erotic Emporium on Portobello Rd. this work explores my sexual past, both with myself and past sexual partners. I collected artifacts (emails, texts, pictures, a few of my pubes) and added text, sewing and drawing; binding it all with melted wax, to create a translucent, skin-like texture.
